On Saturday I was flying home after a week of blogging from a trade show for a customer and I was reflecting on the concepts that stood out to me throughout the week.
1. Being Mobile – Utilizing all available tools to, not only capture content, but publish it ASAP is very valuable. My client received a lot of web traffic throughout the week because he not only had interesting content, but because he was the first to publish it online. That could not have happened unless we took a mobile approach to our blogging.
2. Sharing with Friends – combining blogging with social media allows you to share your content with friends. Everyone checks Facebook and Twitter routinely. Having your content there makes it easy for people to find quickly (and they did).
3. Integration – having your networks synchronized saves a lot of time when you’re on the move. I believe you should “post it once and for all.”
